Thanks John & Gareth.

Sorry, I should have said that I had tried this advice in this post and
actually freed up some space. However, when I reboot the settings in
/etc/network/interfaces get overwritten. I have posted in the Pi forums
too. Waiting on a reply.

Back to the question though. Does this indicate that root is mounted
twice and/or is root using twice the disk space it needs?
