Formerly from London, now resides in a village called West End, Easteligh with his wife and young daughter.
I've been using computers since the days of the Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48k. I moved on to the Amiga 500, 1200 and then from the mid-90's into Linux with Redhat 4.2 (where one had to hand-hack ones X config to get a GUI). These days I'm a huge fan of Debian and Ubuntu.
I have an interest in Debian, Xen, Perl and Catalyst for web apps, MySQL, TCP/IP Networking and High-Availability.
I contribute to opensource and other projects under the handle Imran-UK
