Office applications

There are a few suites of office applications, and a few more stand-alone applications. The suites as a whole are at the top of this page, and each major component of the suite is listed under the separate sections for each application type below that.

http://www.openoffice.org/ This is a huge project with a huge application. The word processor has everything you could want and more with the downside that it takes a long time to load up. It supports import and export of Word documents very well.
