Slackware ROCKS - GUIs are for nancies - long live vi

once upon a time (1993?) I installed Yggdrasil on my 386 with 8MB ram

now I am employed as a linux "expert" (ha ha ha ha) but spend only a fraction of my time supporting http://www.elandigitalsystems.com 's linux users and most of my time supporting and developing our network. Lately I am doing some pcmcia/usb device drivers - interesting stuff!

My home firewall is a 486 - still works fine and does not need a processor fan

recently doing perl and bash scripts (does anyone still use the korn shell? - that shows my HPUX past!) as well as 'C' for the kernel work and firewall hooks
