[Hampshire] Ripping DVD Audio

Hi All,

I am trying to rip the audio from a couple of Foo Fighters DVDs so that
my lovely daughter can listen to them on a portable player.

I found various howtos with deprecated files and confusing instructions,
and just wondered if anyone out there has a nice little recipe I can use?
