[Hampshire] LinkSys WRT54GL Router

Does anyone have any experience with one of these? I've had it for a while
but have never been able to get it to work...

The setup routine is a mystery: why, for example, does a router operating
behind a DSL Bridge/Modem need to know so much detail about the internet
connection?

Any pointers gratefully received....
